Privacy policy
What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Written in plain language, because a privacy policy should be readable by a parent in a waiting room.
Demonstration website
ToothNest is a fictional practice created to demonstrate website design. This page shows where a real practice's privacy policy would sit. No information entered on this demo is collected, sent or stored; the booking form does not submit anywhere.
What this website collects
A real practice website like this one collects only what is needed to respond to you: the name, phone number, email address and appointment preference you type into the booking form, and the message you choose to include. It does not ask for health information online. Anything about your child's dental history is discussed in person or by phone, never through a web form.
How it is used
- To reply to your appointment request and confirm a time.
- To contact you about an appointment you have booked.
- Never for marketing lists, and never sold or shared with third parties.
Website analytics
A practice may use basic, anonymous analytics to understand which pages are read most. Analytics never identify an individual visitor and are not linked to appointment requests. Where cookies are used for this, the site says so and you can decline.
Your choices
- You can ask what information the practice holds about you and request a correction.
- You can ask for booking-form information to be deleted once your visit is arranged.
- You can always book by phone instead of using the website.
Questions
Questions about privacy go to the practice directly, by phone or by email, using the details in the footer of every page.
