For every family
Accessibility
This website is built so that parents using a screen reader, a keyboard, a small phone or larger text can read it and book with it. Here is what that means in practice, and how to reach us if something gets in the way.
On this website
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring, and a skip link to the main content.
- Headings, links, buttons and form fields are labelled so screen readers announce them properly.
- Text and buttons meet WCAG AA colour contrast, and the layout works from 320px phones up.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% in your browser without anything overlapping or being cut off.
- Decorative illustrations are marked as such so they are not read aloud; photographs carry descriptions.
- No content flashes, auto-plays sound or moves in a way that cannot be paused, and motion respects your reduced-motion setting.
At the practice
A children's practice sees every kind of child. Sensory-friendly rooms, extra time for a first visit, a parent in the room, and a quiet space to settle are all part of how visits are planned. If your child has a disability, a sensory need, or simply gets anxious, say so when you book and the visit is arranged around it.
